Because our florist partners begin preparing arrangements shortly after an order is placed, cancellation windows are limited. This policy explains when and how you can cancel an order placed on Great Flowers.

1. Cancellation Window

Orders may be cancelled free of charge up until the applicable cut-off below. Once an order has been confirmed and dispatched to the fulfilling florist, it can no longer be cancelled.

  • Same-day orders: Same-day delivery is available up to the cut-off time shown for your ZIP code at checkout, which varies by location. Once your order has been confirmed and dispatched to the florist — which can happen shortly after ordering — it can no longer be cancelled.
  • Scheduled future orders: Must be cancelled more than 24 hours before the scheduled delivery date for a full refund. Requests made within 24 hours of the scheduled delivery date may be subject to a cancellation fee (see Section 3).
  • Holiday / peak-period orders (Valentine's Day, Mother's Day, etc.): Must be cancelled at least 48 hours in advance. No cancellations are accepted within 48 hours of peak-period delivery dates.

2. How to Cancel

Cancellation requests are handled by our support team — there is currently no self-service cancellation button in your account. To cancel an order:

  1. Contact our support team as soon as possible at support@greatflowers.net or via the Contact Us page, with your order number.
  2. You will receive a confirmation email once the cancellation is processed.

Separately, if an order's selected delivery date passes without payment being completed, it may be automatically cancelled by our system.

3. Late Cancellations

Once an order has been dispatched for delivery, it cannot be cancelled.

4. Cancellation Refunds

Approved cancellations are refunded as follows:

  • Cancellations within the free window: Full refund to original payment method within 5–7 business days.
  • Late cancellations (fee applies): Remaining balance refunded after the cancellation fee is deducted.
  • After dispatch: No refund unless the delivery fails through no fault of the customer (see Refund Policy).

5. Cancellations by Great Flowers

In rare circumstances, Great Flowers or a florist partner may need to cancel an order due to stock unavailability, unforeseen closures, or extreme weather. In such cases, you will be notified as soon as possible and will receive a full refund or the option to reschedule at no additional cost.
